Hong Kong Disneyland on Lantau Island provides an exciting journey into a land of fantasy and magic. Although the 310 acres Disneyland Resort of which 100 acres are occupied by the theme park is the smallest Disneyland in the world, it offers visitors the classic entertainments that have become the trademark of Disneylands internationally while incorporating aspects of Chinese traditions. Thus Hong Kong Disneyland provides a unique experience of the adventurous and imaginative spirit that inspired Walt Disney to create a recreational centre suitable for adults, adolescents and children.
The theme park is divided into 4 lands; Main Street USA, Fantasy Land, Adventure Land and Tomorrow Land. Among the many attractions of Main Street USA which is peopled with the renowned Disney characters comprising Mickey Mouse and his friends, the High School Musical: LIVE! Disney on Parade and Muppet Mobile Lab are the most popular. The Fantasy Land and the Adventure Land provide visitors with an opportunity to enter the world of their favorite fairy tale characters and experience the excitement, sorrow, happiness and beauty of their lives. Marked by its unique futuristic theme, Tomorrow Land is an example of the immense creativity of Disneyland whose entrancing magic transcends even time.
In addition to its myriad characters, rides and exhibits the park also presents a variety of daily and seasonal entertainment items. Rainy days are brightened up by Disney’s Rainy Day Express and all special festivals such as Christmas, Halloween and even summer time is celebrated in grand Disney Style, assuring visitors with maximum value despite the time or the weather conditions of the day they spend at Hong Kong Disneyland.
The theme park is one aspect of this globally important business and leisure hub of Asia. A visitor can easily find hospitable lodgings at a centrally located hotel in Hong Kong. Situated in the Western District, with a panoramic view of the Victoria Harbor, Hotel Jen is renowned for its meticulous attention to the comforts of its guests, thereby assuring a convenient and memorable experience of a boutique hotel in Hong Kong.

Clare Swindlehurst asked:
You would be forgiven for thinking that you need a degree in rocket science to understand the Disney World ticket system. At first look it is a confusing array of options with strange terms such as park hopper and Magic Your Way. Don’t worry though, not all ticket types are available to all guests and once you understand the basics you will be able to narrow down the list to find the ticket type which is most appropriate for your Walt Disney World vacation.
The ticket options range from a One Day One Park option which as it says on the label is good for one day’s admission to one of the four theme parks, to the top of the range Premium Annual Pass which will get you into every Disney World theme and water park with park hopper privileges every day for 365 days.
An average family, staying for a week’s vacation will have about a dozen different ticket options to choose from. Spending the time to understand the different perks included with the different options could save you lots of money, which is important if you are interested in cheap Disney vacations. A little time spent on research will help you avoid purchasing a more expensive ticket which has features you’ll probably never use.
In 2005 Disney introduced the Magic Your Way ticket system, which is essentially a pick ‘n mix way to buy your admission tickets. You start out with a Base Ticket and then add on various options to tailor the ticket to your needs. There is a volume discount, so the more days admission you add to your Base Ticket the lower the cost of a day’s entry becomes. Base Tickets can be bought for a minimum of one and a maximum of ten day’s admission. You can only visit one park per day with a Base Ticket and they expire 14 days from the first date of use.
There are three add-on options available at an additional cost to increase the flexibility of your Base Ticket.
1. Park Hopper - For a flat fee you can add park hopping privileges to your ticket, which allows you to visit more than one park each day. If you are only buying one or two day’s admission this can prove expensive, but becomes a more affordable option for longer visits.
2. No Expiration Date - Daily entry becomes cheaper the more day’s admission you buy so if you are planning a short trip consider buying a ten day pass and adding the no expiration date option. This means that any unused days never expire so you can use the pass on a future vacation. The option price depends on the number of days you add to your Base Ticket but cannot be added to a one-day pass.
3. Plus Pack - If you want to visit the water parks or Disney Quest then you might want to consider adding a plus to your Base Ticket. The number of pluses you can buy is fixed and is tied to the number of days on your Base Ticket. for example a one, two or three-day ticket has two plusses while a ten-day ticket has five.
It is possible to add options to your ticket after you have bought it, so you can start with a Base Ticket and then choose to add park hopper privileges or plusses after you have started using it.
Annual Passes provide unlimited admission to the four theme parks for one year and an add-on is available to give unlimited admission to the water parks too. Perks available to Annual Pass holders include free parking, shopping discounts and ad hoc room rate discounts at Disney hotels.
If you are travelling from the United Kingdom then your ticket choices are different. A number of advance purchase tickets are available to British travellers including a Five-Day Premium Ticket which includes park hopping privileges to all four theme parks for five days and three admissions to the water parks. The Seven-Day Premium ticket increases this to seven day’s admission and five water park admissions. Both expire 14-days from first use. Alternatively the Ultimate Tickets provide unlimited admission to the theme and water parks as well as park hopping privileges for either 14 or 21 days.
Before you choose your ticket options you need to have an idea about what you want to do during your vacation; it does not make sense to pay for options that you won’t get around to using after all. Don’t forget that sometimes you might save money in the long run by buying a more expensive ticket. For example if you plan to visit Walt Disney World on vacation again next year see if you can travel a couple of weeks earlier as this will allow you to take advantage of the Annual Pass options; effectively using the same ticket for both vacations. As Disney often offers hotel discounts to Annual Pass holders you might find that the discount you can obtain on next year’s accommodation more than covers the additional cost of the pass.

Nathalie Fiset asked:
One of the most famous attractions in the state of Florida for any family vacation is undoubtedly Disneyland. Offering 4 theme parks that operate from dawn past dusk, a visit to Disneyland falls into the lists of most people for Places To Visit Before I Die. With a land mass that rivals some small towns (and a few larger ones too!), Disneyland isn’t a place you can cover easily in a day or even a week.
To that end, most vacation goers plan their Disney family trips to last for weeks and even months at a time. Given this, it becomes hell on the budget to stay at a hotel for that long a period. For extended stays, it is both more economical and far more comfortable to rent a summer home. Enterprising citizens and tourism companies down in Florida offer thousands of vacation homes for rent all year round, and you should take advantage of these for your stay down in Disneyland. Here are a few tips to take when looking for a good vacation rental home.
Where to Look? - checking the Internet and classified ads is a quick and easy way to at least canvas places which you can take as options for your rental home. Travel booking agencies are also a good way to look, albeit pricier since the agencies will probably be getting their own percentage off the deal. Look for ones located in Orlando, Florida, and keep in mind that the closer it is to Disney land, the more expensive it usually gets. Grab a map of Florida to look for places that will pass through easy thoroughfares so in case you can’t afford a place that’s within spitting distance of the park, you’ll at least be able to find a reasonable one that will allow you to get there with a quick drive.
Price and Terms - look at the going rate for the places you’ll be canvassing, and know how long you’ll be staying. More often than not, rental homes charge less per day if you’re staying a longer duration overall. These added discounts can help a lot. Plus, also check and see if you have to shoulder any additional costs for the house like electricity and water, of if they are included in the rental fee already. What might seem to be a cheaper offer can actually rack up more expenses if you have to cover your own day to day expenditures on the house.
Additional Features - the point of going on a vacation is to relax and unwind. Disneyland itself night be a fun place to visit, but admittedly tromping around all day can get tiring, especially when you’re steering your little herd of kids. So, you might want to consider a rental house that’s a bit pricier but has added stuff like a jaccuzzi, pool, sauna, game room, and A/V entertainment room. These little touches can help you unwind after a long day of keeping your kids from kicking Donald Duck in the ****.
Transportation - make sure that the place has got a garage. Whether you’re bringing your own car or renting one out when you get there, keep in mind that your kids KNOW that the family’s on vacation, and may demand things like sudden trips to the pizza parlor or a sudden run for ice cream. Having a car handy at all times lessens the migraine.
Other Destinations - keep other destinations in mind. Florida is a big place, and aside from Disneyland, there are beaches for surfing, animal parks, coral reefs for scuba divers, and rivers with manatees. You may want to check these other places out when you’re on vacation, so factor them in when planning the location of the house that you’ll be renting.
Security and Comfort - lastly but definitely not least, look at the basic features of the house you’ll be renting. Make sure that it runs well with a fully furnished kitchen, bath, bed, and dining rooms. Also look into the neighborhood that the house is located in and make sure that it’s got good security. Lastly, call the local town management office in the area to check for any funny ordinances that may trip you up, like prohibitions on alcohol, loud music, etc.

If you are a traveler then finding for cheap Disney World vacation packages is definitely your main goal in searching for ways in going to that world-renowned park at a cheaper rate.
Fortunately, a lot of travel agencies have provided different packages exclusively for those who want to feel the Disneyland experience. However, cost effective fees and packages going to Disneyland entails extensive research.
Also, you need to identify how much you are willing to spend; this means stretching your financial budget for the whole trip. Being in Disneyland would really require you to spent a great deal of money.
One way of doing this is through proper analysis of the total cost of cheap Disney vacation packages. This mainly comprise of food allowances, lodging and a pocket money for shopping souvenirs and other unexpected expenses.
Another good way to find cheap Disney world package deals is to go online. Many online travel sites will often have promotions from time and time and some of the Disney vacation packages are actually a lot cheaper than what you can bargain for in travel agencies.
Formulating a good plan prior to your trip is necessary. This means figuring out which attractions you want to visit before your trip and determine the cost as well. Most online travel sites provides an overview of the various attractions and the entrance fees.
Going off-season is a lot cheaper and economical compared to peak seasons. Therefore, I highly recommend going during off season peaks if possible
Most importantly, looking for cheap Disney vacation packages need not be strenuous for this is the best time to relax and enjoy a once in a lifetime experience.

Dana Medlock asked:
Disney’s Boardwalk Inn is an Epcot area resort that along with its Disney Vacation Club sister resort, Disney’s Boardwalk Villas, offers a fun and exciting vacation experience for families with children of all ages especially teenagers.
It has been our family’s experience that if the children are not kept busy, boredom sets in quickly. One would think that spending the day in one of Disney’s four theme parks would satisfy their need to go and do, but even after running around in one of the parks for 8-10 hours the children still want to know what they will be doing next. Although mom and dad may want to relax a bit, the children want to keep busy.
The Boardwalk Inn and Disney’s Boardwalk Villas has become our favorite resorts because both offer plenty of activities and entertainment opportunities that will keep everyone busy so that we never have to hear the children say “I’m bored.”
So what do the children like to do to keep busy when we are not in a park? Usually, the first thing everyone wants to do at the resort is to swim. The resort’s main pool is located on the Villas side of the property. It is called The Luna Park Pool and it has a 200 foot water slide called Keister Coaster. It is a recreation of a 1920s roller coaster. The slide empties into the pool through the mouth of a clown with the slide as the clown’s tongue. The pool is colorful, exciting and it provides enough fun to keep the children busy for several hours.
In addition to the pool, The Boardwalk Inn and Villas also offer other free activities like tennis, a small playground, and a fitness center. There are other activities that cost extra that can be enjoyed as well. There are two arcades on the property. The biggest is at the ESPN Club located on the Boardwalk.
One activity that we enjoy as a family is renting a surrey bike. The rental stand is located on the Boardwalk just beyond the courtyard area of the resort known as the Village Green. You can rent a 2, 4 or even a 6 seat surrey bike to take for a ride along the Boardwalk and around the ¾ mile walkway that circles Crescent Lake. The walkway has plenty of small hills and even a few not so small hills that make it lots of fun and sometimes a bit of a challenge for those who are pedaling the bike. Most of the time our family ends up laughing so hard after struggling with the smaller hills that we have to get off and push the bike in order to make it up the larger hills. This experience provides us with some good old fashioned family fun and enough memories to share for years to come.
Even though we enjoy all of these activities, we especially like to walk around the boardwalk at night. The sight of bright neon lights, the sounds of midway games, the energy of the live entertainers and the smell of the food coming from the restaurants and the venders all combine to make the Boardwalk come to life with an energy and excitement that only Disney could create.
So the next time you want to take your family on a vacation where the children will be occupied and entertained consider going to Walt Disney World and staying on property at The Boardwalk Inn or Disney’s Boardwalk Villas. Not only do these two resorts offer fun and exciting activities and recreation opportunities they have the added benefit of being conveniently located next to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and at the International Gateway entrance into Epcot.
